The 15th International Date Fair in Morocco (SIDATTES 2026) welcomed 84,704 visitors during its run in Erfoud, in Errachidia province, from October 28 to November 1, the organisers said in a statement.
Business generated over the five days exceeded 30 million dirhams. The statement pointed to strong participation from exhibitors across several sectors and steady visitor turnout throughout the event.
Held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, this year’s edition brought together more than 230 exhibitors and 11 foreign countries, alongside the United Arab Emirates as guest of honour. Its theme was “Date palm and innovation: opportunities for integrated territorial development”.
The fair is organised at the initiative of the International Date Fair in Morocco Association, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries and Food Sovereignty, with support from the National Agency for the Development of Oasis Zones and Argan Trees (ANDZOA).
The organisers said the event forms part of national efforts to consolidate and develop the date palm sector, support its modernisation and strengthen its role in the economic and social development of oasis areas.
Exhibition areas were grouped into thematic hubs featuring date-producing regions, sponsoring institutions and international participants. The programme also included the “Rahbat Attamr” date market space, displays of local products, stands for agricultural equipment and machinery, and a livestock section.
