e& UAE deploys 5g advanced connectivity at world’s tallest hotel in Dubai marina
e& UAE has announced the deployment of 5g advanced connectivity at Ciel Dubai marina, described as the world’s tallest hotel. The rollout introduces ultra fast and low latency indoor connectivity designed to strengthen digital performance in one of Dubai marina’s most prominent hospitality landmarks and reinforces the UAE’s position in next generation network innovation.
The project aims to enhance connected experiences across high density hospitality environments. It supports services such as high speed browsing, video calls, content streaming, smart building functions, guest services and operational communications. The infrastructure is designed to respond to increasing demand for seamless digital performance in premium hotel settings.
Abdul rahman al humaidan, senior vice president of access network development at e& UAE, said: “This latest achievement demonstrates our dedication to providing landmark destinations with world class 5g advanced infrastructure. This deployment supports richer guest experiences and more efficient connected operations, while reinforcing the UAE’s position as a leading hub for next generation digital infrastructure”.
The deployment was completed in collaboration with Ericsson. It uses Ericsson radio dot system, an indoor network solution designed to deliver high capacity coverage with minimal visual impact. The system is positioned for environments where performance and design requirements must work together, particularly in luxury hospitality spaces.
The initiative reflects a broader strategy to support digital transformation in hospitality, enterprise environments and smart communities. It highlights the role of advanced connectivity in strengthening operational efficiency and user experience within iconic developments.
