Moroccan content creator “Doc Samad” says, by his own account, that he has become a surgeon in Italy. He announced it in an Instagram post with a video of his graduation ceremony: “I am proud to announce today that I have become a surgeon doctor in Italy.”
In the post he refers to “eight years of pain, patience and sacrifice” and thanks Italy for giving him, in his words, “a new chance at life.” Followers flooded the comments with congratulations.
He is known for a radio programme and for his social media content. He left Morocco and settled in Italy, where he is reported to have studied medicine.
The post does not name the university or the degree. We have found no independent official confirmation of the announcement so far, so the claim stands as his own statement.
