Ivanka Trump, daughter of US President Donald Trump, arrived in Marrakech on the morning of Thursday, October 29, for a private stay. It is her third visit to the Kingdom.
Official activities are expected to be added to her schedule next week. Starting Monday, her programme may include joint activities with one of Their Royal Highnesses the Princesses. The princess has not been identified, and the nature of these activities has not been disclosed.
No official announcement has yet set out how long she will remain in Morocco or what her programme will involve.
Her first visit came in November 2019, when she was serving as an adviser to her father during his first term. That official trip centred on women’s economic empowerment. It included meetings with Moroccan officials and visits to projects supporting women’s participation in the economy, under the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity initiative then backed by the US administration.
She returned in the summer of 2022 with her husband, former White House adviser Jared Kushner, for a family trip that took in Tangier, Casablanca, Marrakech and Dakhla. Her earlier trips also covered Sidi Kacem and Al Haouz.
She later posted photos from those earlier stays in Morocco on her official Instagram account.
