Morocco with Purpose strengthens ties with young Moroccans abroad

The fifth edition of the Morocco with Purpose program has been launched in Morocco with the participation of more than 60 young Moroccans living abroad. The initiative, attended by Royal Adviser André Azoulay and Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, aims to deepen participants’ understanding of their country and reinforce their connection to their Moroccan heritage.

Running over two weeks, the program combines educational sessions, thematic workshops and field visits. Activities focus on Moroccan heritage and national issues, giving participants a broader understanding of the Kingdom’s history, identity and cultural foundations.

Participants will travel to several Moroccan cities and historical sites as part of the program. These visits are designed to provide direct exposure to the country’s cultural diversity, historical landmarks and civilizational legacy.

Through this immersive experience, Morocco with Purpose seeks to build stronger links between young members of the Moroccan diaspora and their country of origin. The initiative emphasizes the transmission of historical memory, awareness of national priorities and a deeper appreciation of Moroccan identity.

Organizers also aim to equip participants with knowledge and perspectives that can be shared within their communities abroad. The program encourages young Moroccans to contribute to promoting Morocco’s image and to support greater awareness of the Kingdom’s interests and key national causes.

By bringing together more than 60 participants through a combination of training and cultural immersion, Morocco with Purpose continues its mission of strengthening connections between Morocco and its global diaspora while placing youth at the center of that effort.
