Aston Martin unveils Dreadnought virtual SUV for Call of Duty
Aston Martin has expanded its presence beyond the automotive industry with the launch of the Dreadnought virtual SUV, a military-inspired digital vehicle created exclusively for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4. The project combines the British luxury brand’s design language with the tactical demands of one of the world’s most successful action game franchises.
The Dreadnought was developed in collaboration with Infinity Ward and Activision. Announced on July 16, 2026, the four-wheel-drive tactical SUV brings Aston Martin’s visual identity into a fully digital environment. The vehicle features a robust silhouette, military-grade armor, a carbon fiber structure, and specialized equipment designed for in-game missions.
Aston Martin has also incorporated several signature elements from its luxury portfolio. The digital cabin includes Oxford Tan leather, gold metallic finishes, and design cues inspired by the company’s production vehicles. The Dreadnought is finished in Chiltern Green and digitally recreates the sound of an Aston Martin V12 engine.
The partnership reflects Aston Martin’s strategy to engage younger and more international audiences. The company sees gaming as a growing platform for showcasing its brand identity, design philosophy, and luxury positioning beyond traditional automotive markets.
According to Stefano Saporetti, Aston Martin’s director of diversification, the Dreadnought serves as a gateway to future premium consumers. The initiative allows the company to broaden its marketing reach without developing a production vehicle.
The virtual SUV will be featured in selected areas of both DMZ and Call of Duty Warzone game modes. Aston Martin also plans to display a full-scale model of the Dreadnought during Fanatics Fest in New York, connecting the virtual concept with a real-world audience.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026, on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
