Walid Nasi should be back on the training pitch with Wydad Athletic Club before the end of this month. The club’s medical staff have fixed late November as the target date for his return after a shoulder injury.
The defender fractured his shoulder during the match against Wydad Témara in the opening round of the Botola Pro. Wydad’s medical team had estimated at the time that he would need around 12 weeks to recover.
An official source indicates that Nasi could feature in competitive matches again in December.
He is not the only player missing from the Casablanca squad. Brazilian defender Guiérmo Ferreira has been out since last season with a cruciate ligament injury picked up in a match against CODM Meknès.
Wydad currently sit second in the Botola Pro standings with 11 points, two behind leaders Kawkab Marrakech, who have 13.
