TWOK studio expands in Marrakech with INDH support for young entrepreneurs

The TWOK studio is strengthening its presence in Marrakech after receiving support from Morocco’s National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) through its “Income Improvement and Economic Inclusion of Young People” program. The investment has enabled the photography and audiovisual production business to expand its technical capabilities and support a growing client base.

Founded by a young entrepreneur with a passion for visual media, the studio specializes in professional photography, audiovisual production and digital content creation. It provides services to individuals, businesses, institutions, cooperatives and project holders seeking visual communication solutions tailored to traditional and digital platforms.

Its activities include commercial, institutional and event photography, professional portraits, coverage of cultural and economic events, and the production of visual content designed for marketing campaigns and online communication. The studio also manages the entire creative process, from planning photo sessions to editing and delivering finished content.

Beyond photography, TWOK has developed a business model focused on visual marketing and brand development. Through professional photo and video production, the company helps clients showcase products and services while strengthening their digital communication strategies and social media presence.

The project received financial support of 100,000 dirhams from the INDH, allowing the acquisition of professional photography equipment. The entrepreneur invested an additional 18,140 dirhams, bringing the total project cost to 118,140 dirhams.

The new equipment has expanded the studio’s technical capacity, enabling it to diversify its services, meet increasing demand from a broader range of clients and strengthen its competitiveness in the visual communication sector.

Speaking to MAP, studio manager Khalid El Khaoua said the INDH support had been a decisive factor in the project’s development by providing access to high-performance equipment that meets industry standards.

He said the studio’s long-term ambition is to strengthen the marketing dimension of photography, describing visual content as a strategic tool that helps companies, cooperatives and young entrepreneurs promote their activities and improve their competitiveness.

According to El Khaoua, photography has evolved beyond creating attractive images and has become an essential communication and commercial tool, particularly as businesses increasingly rely on digital platforms and social media to reach customers.

He also praised the INDH’s efforts to support young entrepreneurs, saying the initiative encourages entrepreneurship, promotes innovative projects and contributes to the creation of sustainable income-generating activities.

The “Income Improvement and Economic Inclusion of Young People” program, implemented by the INDH in the Marrakech Prefecture, has supported numerous entrepreneurs and fostered projects that generate economic value and employment.

According to data from the Social Action Division of the Wilaya of the Marrakech-Safi region, the program completed 945 projects and operations between 2019 and 2025, including 719 projects and 226 operations. Total investment reached 218.68 million dirhams, with the INDH contributing 148.83 million dirhams, representing 68 percent of total funding, and benefiting 7,676 people.

The entrepreneurship support component, backed by a budget of 155.34 million dirhams with 63 percent financed by the INDH, approved 707 projects that resulted in the creation of 604 businesses. It also provided pre-creation support to 2,412 entrepreneurs and post-creation assistance to 866 beneficiaries, including 30 percent women, reflecting the initiative’s commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and sustainable economic inclusion among young people.
