Royal Air Maroc adds special flights to Boston and New York
Royal Air Maroc is expanding its transatlantic schedule with additional special flights to Boston and New York after strong demand from Moroccan football fans eager to support the Atlas Lions during the quarterfinal stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The national carrier said the new services will complement its initial flight program launched from Casablanca to Boston. The decision follows a surge in bookings ahead of the quarterfinal match scheduled for July 9.
To accommodate more supporters traveling to the United States, Royal Air Maroc will also operate direct special flights between Casablanca and New York. Outbound flights are scheduled between July 6 and July 9, while return services will run from July 10 to July 19.
The airline said all tickets for the special flights to Boston and New York will be sold at a fixed fare of 10,000 Moroccan dirhams in economy class. The tickets will be valid for specific travel dates and cannot be modified or refunded.
The initiative aims to give a larger number of Moroccan supporters the opportunity to attend what could be another significant chapter in the national team’s World Cup campaign. The additional capacity reflects the strong enthusiasm surrounding the Atlas Lions and the growing demand for travel to the United States during the tournament.
