Raja Club Athletic interim coach Abdelkarim Al-Jinani has called up Adam Al-Nefati, Ayman Barqouq and Adel Baltayeb, who will travel straight to Rabat to join the squad ahead of Wednesday’s Botola Pro Inwi match against hosts AS FAR.
The fixture, carried over from the league’s opening round, kicks off at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, at the Rabat Olympic Stadium.
All three players sat out Raja’s last outing, a 2-0 defeat to RS Berkane. Ayman Barqouq and Adel Baltayeb were sidelined by injury, while Adam Al-Nefati was left out on a disciplinary decision by the Raja sports company, which referred him to the club’s disciplinary committee for missing, without justification, a lunch that brought together first-team players and the former players’ association, with club president Jawad Al-Zayat in attendance.
Jinani hopes to have the trio fully fit. He wants to use the two days before the trip to AS FAR to reunite the group and steady the team after the Berkane setback. The squad headed directly to the capital to prepare.
The match was moved from the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, whose pitch is undergoing maintenance and turf work. The venue is being prepared to host Morocco’s national team against Niger on November 17, in the fourth round of qualifying for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
