Etihad Cargo launches Excellence Hub for air cargo training
Etihad Cargo has introduced the Excellence Hub, a new logistics training platform that it describes as the first airline-led training community dedicated to the global air cargo sector. The initiative aims to strengthen operational standards, safety practices, and regulatory compliance across the company’s worldwide network while supporting professional development throughout the industry.
The Excellence Hub has been designed to provide consistent training for Etihad Cargo representatives, partners, customers, and air cargo professionals. The platform delivers standardized knowledge intended to reinforce service quality, improve risk management, and maintain operational alignment across the carrier’s global operations. Through this approach, Etihad Cargo seeks to enhance reliability and preserve customer confidence in its services.
The training ecosystem offers a broad curriculum covering operating procedures, product and service frameworks, safety requirements, and compliance standards aligned with international regulations. Participants can also access industry-certified programs developed in cooperation with accredited educational institutions.
A range of learning formats is available through the platform, including foundation courses, podcasts, masterclasses, and executive education programs such as a miniMBA. Users who successfully complete learning pathways receive accredited certifications. To encourage participation, the Excellence Hub incorporates gamification features, including points-based rankings and LinkedIn-recognized achievement badges. University students are granted free access, enabling future industry professionals to engage with a global network of experts and academic partners.
The platform also integrates artificial intelligence tools to support personalized learning. These capabilities provide tailored feedback and real-time performance analytics, helping users monitor their progress. A mobile-first design ensures access from any location, allowing participants to engage with training resources whenever needed.
Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer at Etihad Airways, said the launch marks an important development in the way the company approaches knowledge sharing, professional capability, and service quality across its international network. He noted that combining operational expertise, industry knowledge, and accredited education pathways within a single platform could help raise professional standards throughout the global air cargo ecosystem.
Dr. Nadia Al Bastaki, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer at Etihad Airways, stated that the initiative reflects the company’s continued investment in workforce development. She said the platform will support knowledge sharing, strengthen professional capabilities, and contribute to improvements in operational performance, customer service, and efficiency across the sector.
The Excellence Hub forms part of Etihad Cargo’s broader strategy focused on safety, compliance, operational excellence, and workforce development. The company views the initiative as a long-term investment in industry skills and professional standards.
