Danone Maroc launches Fruit de Mon Pays inspired by Moroccan terroirs

Danone Maroc has launched Fruit de Mon Pays, a new range built around the origin of its ingredients and the diversity of Moroccan terroirs. The Fruit de Mon Pays concept puts Moroccan fruits at the center of the offer and links taste with local identity and proximity.

The new range draws on fruits from different regions of Morocco. Danone Maroc presents the initiative as a way to showcase the country’s agricultural diversity while making terroir part of the consumer experience.

The company said particular attention was given to selecting the fruits used in the products. The approach reflects growing consumer interest in ingredient origin and locally rooted food products.

The launch also seeks to connect the product with Morocco’s agricultural and cultural identity. The emphasis on regional fruits gives the range a local dimension beyond its food offering.

The project took several months to develop and involved teams from Danone Maroc as well as external partners. Imane Baqa led the project, with contributions from Ouafae Dhimene, Layla Yacoubi, Najat El Faiti, Zineb Inani, Abdesslam Hafid, Naim Ben Said and Brahim Meskini.

DPR Group supported the project through Iraqi Malik, Imane Lachguer, Youness Jafri and Georges Yammine. Production was handled by BanniBanni.

With Fruit de Mon Pays, Danone Maroc is also building its communication around Morocco’s fruit heritage and agricultural know-how. The selection of fruits from different regions allows the brand to associate the product with familiar references linked to local regions and terroirs.

The launch comes as food brands increasingly seek to develop products and campaigns that reflect the cultural identity of their target markets. Danone Maroc is using Moroccan fruits and their regional origins to build a proposition that combines food, storytelling and territorial identity.
