Abdullah Wazaan, the 17-year-old Moroccan international on the books of Ajax Amsterdam, is drawing attention from four of Europe’s biggest clubs, who are following his progress closely.
Chelsea and Manchester City in England, Real Madrid in Spain and Juventus in Italy are said to be keeping tabs on the youngster, whose technical ability has made him one of the most promising young players in European football.
Any move would hinge on Ajax. The Dutch club holds his contract until June 2028 and would decide how to respond to any offers that come in for him.
This is not his first brush with a major club. Abdullah Wazaan came close to joining Real Madrid, but the deal collapsed over medical tests he underwent in the Spanish capital. Ajax then secured his future by handing him a professional contract.
