CDG Capital expands deposit certificates program to 10 billion dirhams

CDG Capital has increased the ceiling of its deposit certificates issuance program to 10 billion dirhams following the latest update registered by Morocco’s capital markets regulator. The move raises the program’s capacity from the previous limit of 6 billion dirhams and strengthens the institution’s funding flexibility.

The Moroccan Capital Market Authority approved the annual and exceptional update of the information file related to the program on July 20, 2026. The updated documentation includes CDG Capital’s 2025 reference document and the note governing the issuance framework for the certificates of deposit.

Under the revised structure, the maximum outstanding amount authorized under the program now reaches 10 billion dirhams. The nominal value of each certificate remains fixed at 100,000 dirhams.

The securities will continue to offer maturities ranging from 10 days to seven years, allowing the issuer to address both short-term and longer-term financing needs. This maturity range provides flexibility for institutional investors seeking different investment horizons.

Interest rate conditions remain unchanged. Certificates issued with maturities of one year or less will carry fixed interest rates. For instruments with maturities exceeding one year, CDG Capital may issue securities with either fixed or adjustable rates depending on market conditions and financing requirements.

The updated program reflects CDG Capital’s continued access to the domestic debt market and provides additional capacity to support its financing strategy through diversified funding sources.
