MY WAY aims to bridge the gap between school and real life for Moroccan youth

Casablanca-based educational innovator MY ÉDUCATION has unveiled MY WAY, a new integrated learning program designed to equip young people aged 9 to 16 with the psychosocial and twenty-first century skills increasingly demanded by a rapidly changing world.

Positioned as a comprehensive educational ecosystem rather than a traditional extracurricular activity, MY WAY seeks to complement formal schooling by helping young learners develop practical competencies, emotional intelligence, leadership abilities, and future-focused skills that are often difficult to cultivate within conventional academic frameworks.

The launch comes at a time when education systems worldwide are facing growing pressure to prepare students not only for examinations but also for the realities of modern society, digital transformation, and evolving labor markets. For Yasmine Bennani, co-founder of MY ÉDUCATION, the program represents a broader vision of education that extends beyond traditional academic achievement.

She describes MY WAY as a complete ecosystem that helps young people learn how to undertake projects, collaborate with others, and adapt to ongoing change. According to Bennani, each pillar is designed to strengthen self-confidence, self-awareness, and a sense of collective impact while bringing together young people, families, schools, and businesses around a shared objective.

Myriem Kettani, also co-founder of MY ÉDUCATION, explains that the initiative emerged from a simple observation. While children spend considerable time learning what to think, they often receive fewer opportunities to learn how to act, experiment, and develop practical judgment.

As both educators and mothers, the founders sought to create a supportive environment where mistakes become learning opportunities and where young people can explore their interests without the pressure of grades. Kettani emphasizes that parents and teachers are integral to the process, arguing that meaningful educational transformation requires the involvement of the entire ecosystem.
