Achraf Hakimi scored the first hat-trick of his professional career and added two assists as Paris Saint-Germain beat Le Havre 5-1 away from home in Ligue 1, earning the man of the match award.
The captain of Morocco was directly involved in all five Paris goals. With his side trailing, he set up Mika Godts for the equaliser in the 26th minute, then put PSG ahead himself at 1-2 just three minutes later.
After the break, Hakimi made it 1-3 in the 55th minute before laying on the fourth goal for Senny Mayulu. He completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute and was substituted two minutes afterwards.
His strike for 1-2 carried extra weight for the club. It was the 2,000th goal scored by PSG in all competitions since Nasser Al-Khelaïfi became president.
Le Havre, where Moroccan midfielder Amir Richardson plays, remain near the bottom of the table, and the defeat extends the Normandy side’s poor run.
The third goal of the evening brought Hakimi’s club tally as a professional to 52: two for Real Madrid, seven for Inter Milan, 12 for Borussia Dortmund and now 31 for PSG.
