His appointment took effect on August 10, 2026, following the retirement of Abdallah Janati.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"299\" data-end=\"531\">Azzi graduated as a veterinarian from the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute (IAV) in Rabat, where he ranked first in his class. He earned his veterinary doctorate in 1994 with the congratulations of the examination panel.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"780\">He also holds an advanced veterinary studies certificate in veterinary public health from the \u00c9cole nationale des services v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires in Lyon. According to ONSSA, Azzi has more than 30 years of professional experience within public institutions.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"972\">The appointment follows Janati\u2019s retirement after leading the agency.
