\u0160uica said the EU appreciates the joint efforts by Morocco and Spain to restore control over the situation. She also said the majority of migrants who entered Ceuta had returned to Morocco.<\/p>\n
The commissioner linked the mass arrivals to migrant-smuggling networks. She warned that smugglers and traffickers can expose migrants to serious risks by making false promises about reaching Europe.<\/p>\n
The European Commission official described the fight against irregular migration and migrant trafficking as a shared challenge for Morocco and European countries. She called for coordinated action to address the networks facilitating irregular crossings.<\/p>\n
