The Mohammed V Foundation<\/strong> has published a commemorative book documenting its first 25 years of action from 1999 to 2024. The publication highlights the Foundation’s development under the impetus of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and presents the evolution of its social programs, flagship initiatives, and long-term commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable communities across Morocco.<\/p>\n

Illustrated with photographs of HM King Mohammed VI, the 159-page reference work traces the Foundation’s transformation since its establishment. It reviews the milestones that shaped its intervention model while showcasing projects designed to support disadvantaged populations through sustainable social development.<\/p>\n

The publication places particular emphasis on the Foundation’s work in expanding access to healthcare, education, vocational training, and services for people with disabilities. It also highlights initiatives that promote the economic inclusion of women and young people, presenting these areas as central pillars of its mission to strengthen equal opportunities and social cohesion.<\/p>\n

According to the book, the Foundation has adopted an integrated and multidimensional approach since its creation. Its programs have been designed to respond to major societal challenges while complementing public policies through innovative solutions tailored to local needs.<\/p>\n

The publication reports that since 1999, the Foundation has invested 10.13 billion Moroccan dirhams in its various initiatives. Of that total, 52 percent has been allocated to supporting vulnerable people, 19.4 percent to fostering the economic inclusion of women and youth, 18.3 percent to improving access to healthcare, and 10.4 percent to strengthening solidarity-based cooperation.<\/p>\n

The book also notes that millions of beneficiaries from rural and urban areas, Moroccans living abroad, and international communities benefit each year from the Foundation’s diverse programs and humanitarian initiatives.<\/p>\n

Throughout the past quarter century, the Foundation has continued to implement the Royal vision by pursuing projects that serve the public interest. Its work has focused on mobilizing institutions, civil society organizations, private partners, philanthropists, and international organizations to develop practical responses to social inequality and collective well-being.<\/p>\n

Over the years, this collaborative approach has enabled the Foundation to establish an extensive partnership network involving public and private stakeholders as well as nonprofit organizations and international institutions. The publication states that this model, built on shared responsibility and local engagement, has strengthened the sustainability and effectiveness of its projects while reinforcing accountability toward beneficiary communities.<\/p>\n

The book concludes that the Mohammed V Foundation remains a leading institution in Morocco’s social sector.
