Range Rover has unveiled the Range Rover GT<\/strong>, introducing the fifth model in its lineup after more than 56 years of brand history. Designed as a new interpretation of grand touring for the electric era, the vehicle combines long-distance comfort, refined driving dynamics and the off-road capability that defines the Range Rover name.<\/p>\n

The Range Rover GT<\/strong> is positioned as the brand’s most car-like model to date while maintaining the versatility expected from the luxury SUV manufacturer. It is intended to deliver smooth electric performance, premium comfort and everyday usability without sacrificing all-terrain capability.<\/p>\n

The new model represents a significant expansion of the Range Rover family with a lower, sleeker and more dynamic design inspired by traditional grand tourers. Although a full commercial launch has not yet been announced, the company confirmed that global prototype testing is in its final stages.<\/p>\n

Prototype vehicles currently wear a bespoke camouflage created by the company’s in-house design team. The pattern features topographic lines inspired by the landscape surrounding Gaydon, home to Range Rover’s design and engineering operations. The gold-toned graphics also highlight the vehicle’s coupe-like proportions and streamlined silhouette.<\/p>\n

The Range Rover GT<\/strong> will become the first fully electric Range Rover built on the new EMA platform. Production will take place at the Halewood manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom alongside combustion-engine and hybrid vehicles.<\/p>\n

The model will initially launch as a battery electric vehicle before a hybrid version is introduced later in its product lifecycle. This approach allows Range Rover to expand its electrification strategy while continuing to offer multiple powertrain options.<\/p>\n

Inside, the cabin follows the brand’s minimalist design philosophy with an emphasis on simplicity and reduced visual clutter. A new digital interface replaces the traditional instrument cluster with a central display and dedicated driver screen. Hidden air vents run across the dashboard, reinforcing the clean interior layout.<\/p>\n

Range Rover has also introduced new woven textile materials that wrap across the dashboard while discreetly integrating the audio system. The design aims to create a calm and refined atmosphere where technology remains present without dominating the cabin.<\/p>\n

Rear passengers are expected to benefit from what the company describes as class-leading legroom, reinforcing the GT’s focus on long-distance travel for both drivers and occupants.<\/p>\n

According to Managing Director Martin Limpert, the vehicle reimagines the traditional grand touring formula by combining luxury, electric performance and the capability expected from a Range Rover. Rather than becoming a conventional sedan or copying existing GT models, the company aims to bridge the gap between premium touring, electrification and off-road performance.<\/p>\n

Range Rover has not yet disclosed technical specifications, including battery capacity, driving range, power output, performance figures or market launch dates. Those details will be announced at a later stage.<\/p>\n
