Abdelkebir Ouaddar secured victory in the Grand Prix His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the senior Moroccan show jumping championship, during the 41st edition of Semaine du cheval held in Rabat.<\/p>\n
Riding Chacsara, Ouaddar won the prestigious event on Sunday after two rounds of competition at the Royal Complex of Equestrian Sports and Tbourida Dar Es-Salam. The championship took place as part of Semaine du cheval 2026, organized from July 12 to 19 under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI.<\/p>\n
Ouaddar recorded a time of 79.85 seconds with 4.26 penalty points in the first round before finishing the second round with 4 penalty points in 46.15 seconds.<\/p>\n
Mohammed Azoum, riding Sienna Aeg, finished second after posting a time of 82.21 seconds with 8.30 penalty points in the opening round and completing the second round in 49.69 seconds without penalties.<\/p>\n
Third place went to Ghali Boukaa aboard Ike 1348. He registered times of 82.38 seconds and 48.03 seconds in the two final rounds, with penalty scores of 10.37 and zero respectively.<\/p>\n
Following the competition, Ouaddar expressed his satisfaction after capturing his tenth title. He said the championship featured strong competition from highly experienced riders and described the victory as additional motivation ahead of upcoming events, particularly on the international stage.<\/p>\n
At the end of the championship, Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports President Moulay Abdallah Alaoui presented the trophy to the winner and awarded medals to the top three finishers.<\/p>\n
The 41st edition of Semaine du cheval brought together nearly 400 rider and horse combinations competing across 20 different championships in show jumping and dressage.<\/p>\n
The event program included the Special Olympics Morocco championship, Moroccan dressage championships, club championships, senior and amateur competitions, youth categories, pony championships, military championships and pony dressage events.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
