A total of 337,192 students from public and private schools successfully obtained their baccalaureate diploma following the regular and make up sessions of the 2026 national unified examination, raising the overall pass rate to 81.6%, according to Morocco\u2019s Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports.<\/p>\n
The ministry reported that 64,586 candidates passed during the make up session, which recorded an attendance rate of 86%.<\/p>\n
Female candidates achieved a higher success rate than their male counterparts. The pass rate among girls reached 84.5% of all candidates who sat the exams, compared with 78.6% among boys.<\/p>\n
For independent candidates, 31,034 passed across both the regular and make up sessions, representing a success rate of 54.5%. Among them, 9,549 candidates succeeded during the make up session.<\/p>\n
The ministry congratulated all successful candidates for reaching what it described as an important stage in their educational journey. It also praised the commitment and sense of responsibility demonstrated by education and training sector staff throughout the examination process.<\/p>\n
