Safi Silver has received a $3 million quarterly payment from Horizon Corporation Limited as the Canadian mining company continues exploration and drilling activities at its flagship Addana Silver Project in southern Morocco.<\/p>\n
The payment represents the second of eight quarterly installments agreed under a transaction completed in late 2025. Safi Silver said the arrangement provides a steady source of non dilutive funding while allowing the company to maintain long term exposure to the Kombat Mine through royalty and contingent consideration agreements.<\/p>\n
Jed Richardson, President and CEO of Safi Silver, said receiving the second payment on schedule reflects Horizon Corporation Limited\u2019s ongoing commitment to the transaction and strengthens the company\u2019s financial position. He added that the proceeds support Safi Silver\u2019s growth strategy without the need to issue additional shares while preserving exposure to the future performance of the Namibian mining asset.<\/p>\n
The company confirmed that the Addana Silver Project remains its primary operational focus and that exploration activities in Morocco are continuing as planned.<\/p>\n
According to Andreas Rompel, Chief Exploration Officer, the drilling program at Addana is progressing steadily. He said the company is encouraged by the pace of drilling and expects to share the first analytical results in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
Safi Silver reported that core samples from the first two drill holes have already been submitted for laboratory analysis. Drilling is currently underway on the fourth hole of the company’s maiden drilling campaign at the Moroccan project. Assay results will be released once they become available.<\/p>\n
Addana project remains central to exploration strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n The Addana Silver Project is located near Akka in Morocco\u2019s Tata province, approximately 300 kilometers southeast of Agadir. The project covers an area of about 112 square kilometers.<\/p>\n According to the company, the site is situated within a historic lead and silver mining district where mining activity has taken place for centuries. Numerous mineralized veins have been identified across more than 40 kilometers of strike length.<\/p>\n Safi Silver also referenced historical mining records showing high silver and lead grades in ore extracted from the area.
