The terminal is operated by the group&#8217;s subsidiary TC3PC.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"624\">The extension is tied to a major investment program aimed at increasing the terminal&#8217;s capacity from 600,000 twenty foot equivalent units, commonly known as TEUs, to 900,000 TEUs by 2030. The project forms part of a broader strategy to expand container handling operations at the Port of Casablanca.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"923\">Under this development plan, Marsa Maroc will invest 3 billion Moroccan dirhams to modernize and expand its infrastructure. The program includes extending quay facilities, strengthening the terminal&#8217;s equipment fleet, and redesigning storage areas across its two container terminals in Casablanca.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"1142\">The investment is expected to significantly increase the port&#8217;s operational capabilities. By 2030, Marsa Maroc aims to raise the total container handling capacity of the Port of Casablanca to more than 2 million TEUs.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1496\">According to the company, the concession renewal and associated investment program reflect a long-term strategy focused on improving operational performance and expanding capacity.
