{"id":2128,"date":"2026-07-02T12:12:52","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T11:12:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zawaya24.com\/en\/?p=2128"},"modified":"2026-07-02T12:12:52","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T11:12:52","slug":"morocco-tv5monde-invests-e1m-in-the-animation-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zawaya24.com\/en\/morocco-tv5monde-invests-e1m-in-the-animation-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"Morocco: TV5MONDE invests \u20ac1m in the animation sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Eight Moroccan animated series are coming to TV5MONDE&#8217;s channels, the result of an ambitious partnership between the French-language media group, local creators, Morocco and France to support French-language production.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In recent years, TV5MONDE has stepped up its support for the animation sector, drawing on the reach of its youth channel TiVi5MONDE, watched by 30 million viewers every week.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Having already supported creative studios in several sub-Saharan African countries, including C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire and Madagascar, TV5MONDE has now decided to back Moroccan studios, thanks to a special grant awarded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b><strong>Around ten original creations<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">TV5MONDE has invested a total of \u20ac1 million in the country, enabling around ten educational-entertainment animated series to be produced, all in French, helping to pass on the shared values of the Francophonie to new generations.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Agreements have been signed with two studios recognised for their commitment to developing Morocco&#8217;s animation industry:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">developing Morocco&#8217;s animation industry:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Neverseen Productions, founded by Yassine Lahrichi, whose creative world is built around characters rooted in the everyday realities of young people.<\/li>\n<li>Art&#8217;coustic Studios, led by Ali Rguigue, whose work focuses on heritage and historical storytelling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;With this investment in Morocco&#8217;s animation sector, TV5MONDE confirms its commitment to supporting French-language creation in all its diversity. We are proud that Moroccan cartoons will soon be broadcast on our channels and discovered by audiences around the world.&#8221;\u00a0Kim Younes, CEO of TV5MONDE<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b><strong>A global broadcast<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Eight animated series produced with TV5MONDE&#8217;s support are currently in production.
