The investment amounts to MAD 350 million, equivalent to about 37 million dollars, and targets increased production capacity and industrial modernization.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"824\" data-end=\"1109\">The announcement took place during a ceremony attended by Morocco\u2019s Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour, Safran Electronics &#038; Defense CEO Franck Saudo, Safran Morocco President Laurent Figari, Midparc Chairman Jalal Benhayoun, and French Ambassador to Morocco Philippe Lalliot.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1324\">The project will extend the existing site by 17,000 square meters and introduce 15 new production lines. These lines will follow Industry 4.0 standards and integrate environmentally responsible production methods.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"1326\" data-end=\"1611\">The expansion is expected to generate around 500 jobs over the next five years. These positions will include engineers, technicians, and production operators. Once completed, the workforce will more than double from the current 430 employees, with women representing half of the staff.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1833\">Mezzour said the Safran Morocco expansion reflects the company\u2019s rapid growth and its strategy to enter new markets. He highlighted the role of Morocco as an emerging aerospace hub with increasing global competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"2146\">Safran has operated in Morocco for more than 25 years. The Nouaceur site currently produces nearly 400,000 aircraft components per year for international manufacturers. The facility works on the design, assembly, and maintenance of aerospace systems such as actuators, flight computers, and measurement systems.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"2148\" data-end=\"2412\">The minister said the investment confirms the maturity of Morocco\u2019s aerospace ecosystem and its attractiveness to global industrial players.
