He said the US president would take part in the official trophy presentation ceremony and remain on the podium during the post-match celebrations.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"762\">Infantino stated that he and Trump would be together during the event and would jointly hand the trophy to the tournament winners. He also confirmed that both men would share the podium for the presentation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"1074\">Trump&#8217;s participation adds another high-profile public appearance to his recent schedule. Last week, he attended a UFC event at the White House. He also became the first sitting US president to attend the NBA Finals, where he was present during game three between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1286\">The 2026 FIFA World Cup began on June 11 and will conclude with the final on July 19.
