Peugeot Partner marks 30 years as Traveller reaches 10 year milestone

Peugeot is celebrating two major anniversaries in its professional vehicle range with the 30th anniversary of the Peugeot Partner and the 10th anniversary of the Peugeot Traveller. The two models reflect the brand’s long-standing presence in the compact van and passenger transport segments.

Introduced in 1996, the Peugeot Partner has surpassed 2.6 million units sold across three generations, including sales of the related Rifter model. Over the years, the compact van has evolved with greater cargo capacity, improved comfort, and enhanced technology aimed at professional users.

The current third-generation Peugeot Partner, launched in 2018 and updated in 2023, is built on the EMP2 platform and features the Peugeot i-Cockpit system. The model has become a key product in the manufacturer’s commercial vehicle portfolio.

The range now includes the fully electric E-Partner alongside conventional combustion-engine versions. Peugeot also plans to introduce a mild hybrid powertrain from 2027 as part of its broader electrification strategy.

The company continues to expand the lineup with specialized variants. The Partner Active features a modular passenger seat that increases usable cargo volume by 0.5 cubic meters. Peugeot is also preparing the Partner Pro Skill, a version designed for more demanding professional applications. The new model is scheduled to make its public debut at the IAA Transportation exhibition in Hanover in September 2026.

The Peugeot Traveller, launched in 2016, focuses on passenger transport. Available in two body lengths, the vehicle can accommodate up to nine occupants and is offered with diesel engines as well as the fully electric E-Traveller version.

Peugeot also deploys the Traveller as a shuttle vehicle at several international cultural and sporting events, reinforcing its role as a versatile people mover. Ten years after its launch, the model remains a key element of the brand’s passenger transport offering while supporting its transition toward electric mobility.
