FUS Rabat seals national basketball crown with finals sweep

FUS Rabat has been crowned champion of the 2025–26 Moroccan National Basketball Championship after completing a decisive finals sweep against AS Salé, prompting congratulations from the Royal Moroccan Basketball Federation.

In an official statement, Royal Moroccan Basketball Federation President Mustapha Aourach congratulated FUS Rabat on behalf of the federation’s executive board following the club’s title winning campaign. He also praised AS Salé for its performances throughout the championship finals.

The federation highlighted the strong technical quality of the final series and commended both teams for their sportsmanship during the competition. It also expressed its best wishes to FUS Rabat and AS Salé for future tournaments.

FUS Rabat secured the championship by defeating AS Salé 79-71 in the third game of the finals. The victory completed a 3-0 sweep after the Rabat club had already won the opening two games of the series.

The title concludes a successful season for FUS Rabat, which dominated the championship finals and finished the campaign by lifting the 2025–26 national league trophy.
